Party Recipes
Friday, December 28th, 2007Are you planning a New Year’s Eve party or just a family get together over the holiday weekend? Here is an old favorite recipe – Party Mix and one with a new twist – Barbecue Party Mix – it’s really good, you need to try it! I use my Roaster with Granny Speckles to make both of these recipes. Did you think the only use for a roaster is for your Thanksgiving turkey or Christmas ham – think again. Enjoy!

Recently I was going through my cupboard of cookbooks looking for a certain recipe when I came across an old recipe booklet. This booklet was dated 1975 and was actually done on a mimeograph machine (remember those? -really makes you appreciate your computer, huh?) Well, I found a recipe with my cousin’s name on it but I’m sure it is from her mother, my Auntie Flo.
