I have rescued kittens, as well. It's hard but worth while. My last one is running around here, now, enjoying life. Good job, saving that little one!

I've read this article several times just to enjoy the success of the rescue of one little kitten. I love raising bottle baby kittens and have had a lot of success doing so. However this spring I had three tiny ones, only a week old. Initially they did well, then one by one refused to eat. And one by one I lost them. My vet thinks the mom may have passed on a virus, but that doesn't assuage the grief at their loss. Every little life is precious.
