I recall when we made the leap from &quot;horse enthusiast&quot; to &quot;horse owner&quot;-

We have a friend who vacations once a year and we will feed and water her family&#039;s critters in her absence.  To reciprocate, her horse trailer is available, should we need to get one of the &quot;big kids&quot; to the vet, and she&#039;s always willing to lend a hand rounding up our wayward &quot;children&quot;.  When we first brought the horses, she was the one that commented that we were to give her a call &quot;when the horses got loose&quot;.  I thought it rather odd that she didn&#039;t say &quot;if&quot;, but have since learned better.  It is most certainly &quot;when&quot;.   That 1000+ pound, must&#039;ve been a lap dog in a previous life, idiot &quot;child&quot; will find a way to get at that apple tree.  It&#039;s just a matter or time.</description>
